Fudge Brownies from Scratch

I wanted to share a fudge brownie recipe from scratch that I love.  It is really easy and I promise that they taste better than the box brownies.  One of my baker friends {Thanks, Tami!!} shared this with me a few years ago and I have made them dozens of
 times for my boys.
Melt 1 cup of butter and mix together with
2 cups of sugar in a large bowl.
Beat in 4 eggs and then stir in 2 tsp Vanilla,
1/2 tsp Baking Powder and 1/2 tsp Salt.  Mix in the 3/4 Cup of Cocoa Powder {I use Hershey’s} and the 1 cup of Flour.
 Then I mix in some Chocolate chips.  Just a little Extra.  icon smile Fudge Brownies from Scratch
 I like to put my brownies in a greased pie plate
{Just Because it looks cute.}
 Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
 When the brownies come out of the oven and they are still hot, I add lots of yummies on the top.  This ones has Heath chips, chocolate chips, and some left over Valentine M&M’s.
 My boys love to have Brownies Sundae’s with the homemade brownies.  I know it looks like the fudge brownies may be a little light on the sugar, so we add ice cream,
fudge sauce, and whip cream.
 They are delicious!  Enjoy!!

  1. Cannot wait to try this recipe. It looks so moist (I can't stand dry brownies). I like that you put it in a pie dish – never would have though to do that. Now, everyone can get a bit of the crunchy end portion.
