Glad to hear you'll be joining:) I haven't drank soda for over a year and now the taste is so sweet to me I couldn't even drink it if I wanted to. Still a sucker for my sweet tea though..
How ever did you make the transition to water. If I was parched and dying in a desert, I don't think I'd drink the water. I know I need to get more h2o in me but I just can't bring myself to go for the water over a glass of iced tea!
I find it easier to drink room temperature water –also if I drink from a straw I drink MUCH more. Those cute plastic clear cups with lids and straws–like from walmart make it more appealing also because they are prettier—start out with small amounts otherwise you'll be overwhelmed with peeing alot and get frustrated…Slowly increase the amounts and you'll be polishing large cups off fast! good luck!
I don't like water at all – but that is all I've been drinking for about 2 years now. It turns out that the sweetner in sodas give me vertigo – especially the ones in Coke zero. But what I do like to do is add flavor to my water – and I LOVE Ocean spray's cran cherry limeade – so much better than Crystal Light.
Good for you. Looks like a fun exercise program! I've also given up soda since Jan 1st, and haven't fallen off the bandwagon yet. Started drinking 64 oz of water a day, and surprisingly my body adjusted within a week, and now I feel thirsty if I am not drinking water fairly regularly throughout the day! It's neat to see these victories.
Loving water over here too. It's funny that when you force yourself to drink water, your body begins to crave it and love it. I still a soda here and there, but we don't keep it in the house anymore. I love the exercise chart and that it can be done in just a few minutes…evryone has a few minutes, right?
Found you while hopping through the blog hops today! Love your blog!
