Easter Basket Cake

I saw a Kit Kat cake over on Jennifer Cooks blog
and thought it was such a cool idea!
Her cake also has ice cream in it and sounds amazing!
I was looking for an idea for our Easter cake and thought that I could make the Kit Kat cake into a basket.  My friend Tami had made an amazing looking Easter basket cake last year,
so I was combining both ideas.
I just used a box cake mix in two 9 inch round pans.  Put them together and frosted the cake as normal.  Then just added Kit Kat’s around the outside.  Filled the inside with M&M’s, Egg’s, and Peeps.  The grass around the bottom is edible grass that I picked up at Target.  It was really easy to make! Oh, and the “basket” handle is just an old handle from an ice cream bucket!

I am hoping that it tastes as good as it looks!
Happy Easter everyone!
