Redo of my Laundry Room Redo

I seriously just did some decorating in the laundry room a couple months ago, if you don’t remember that post you can read it here.
But, you know how it goes.  You spend soooo much time in that room, you start thinking of other ways to make it cute.  I was going to replace the curtains, BUT then I was reading a post over on I Heart Organizing and saw this fabulous rug in her laundry room.  It was the perfect colors to go with my curtains.   It isn’t exactly my style of decorating, so I got all wishy washy about ordering it.  I finally decided to go a little out of my comfort zone and just try it, I could always send it back.  But it is PERFECT!

I also have a little stool in the corner that matches the red in the rug, I picked this up at a local consignment shop for $5.  Love it!  I grabbed a little tin from The Dollar Tree {Have you figured out that I love this store} to put my scrubby things in.  On the other side of the faucet is a stone dish in the same color that I picked up at Home Goods {one of my other favorite stores}.
On the Counter I added a jar of Clothes pins and a lamp
with a red lamp shade.

Also in the corner I stuck a shelf that wasn’t being used and added some totes for Cleaning rags, Missing socks, Jar lids and my cleaning supplies caddy.  I love the labels that these are marked with, they are free and you can print your own over Here.  I swear I use these for everything!

So, there you go.  A redo of my redo.
Please tell me that I am not the only one who does this….. often.  icon smile Redo of my Laundry Room Redo

  9. When I clicked to leave this message I noticed out of the corner of my eye a blog post about a Kit Kat cake. I will have to go back to this after I am done commenting. :) Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love to look at other peoples Ideas for inspiration and I love the laundry room. I chose the Top load as It was the largest I found for my large family size. More cubic feet. If not I woudl have loved all the counter top like you have. I am following back. Missy
