Hello Taylor House readers!  My name is Kelley and I blog over at the Grant life.  Im so excited to be swapping places with Chrissy today!

I am married to my best friend and momma to those two good lookin kiddos!  I stay at home with them and love every minute of it.  Since we only have one income we budget our money each month and try not to splurge on things we dont need.  Let me tell ya.. its tough!  Im sure some of yall can relate!

What makes it even harder is that I love to shop.  But I always keep our budget in mind.  I love finding a great deal on something I was already planning on buying.  So when I saw this cute St. Patrick’s Day dress at Carters for $3, I had to grab it.

Of course it was after the holiday and wasnt going to fit my daughter next year so I had to think of something.  I decided that this dress would get a loveables refashion!  Loveables is my online store where I sell cute hairpieces for mom and daughter.

I took some fun summer fabric and made yoyos to place over the clover.  I used fabric glue to attach them to the dress.  (I was going to put jewels on the yoyos but thought they might come off in the wash.)

I was thrilled with how cute it came out.. my first loveables refashion was a success!  Sadly, my daughter didnt share the same enthusiasm!  Oh the wonders of a 2 year old mind.

I hope yall liked my little DIY project.  If you get a chance stop over at my place and say hello!  I really love making new friends!  Thanks again for having my Chrissy!

Kelley has some great projects over on her blog!  Be sure to stop by and check out some of my favorites including these:
