It is so beautiful outside these days! The weather is warm, the trees are turning green, flowers are blooming and everyone is starting to mow their lawns.
This means my allergies are in full bloom too. I have seasonal allergies that are miserable!
I wake up in the mornings with dark circles under my eyes, swollen eyelids, headaches, stuffy nose and a scratchy throat.
It isn’t fun and I definitely do NOT look very good.
SCARY!! Yikes!
My little guy and I decided to take a trip to CVS to find some Allegra to try.

Here are the goodies that I came home with from CVS.
The First step in making me feel and look better is taking my Allegra in the morning. I have had wonderful results from this medication. I cannot tell you how much better I feel when I take it!
You do not need a prescription for Allegra, it is available over the counter. Allegra is a fast acting medication that does NOT cause drowsiness. This is a very important for me, I do not want a medication that makes me feel tired all day.
Allegra takes about an hour to work, which is enough time to have some coffee, a shower and get my son out the door to school. By then I am feeling better and ready to get my day going in full gear.
I felt good so I wanted to look good.

Next, I have a beauty routine that involves moisturizer to hydrate my skin, concealer to help cover up what is left of those dark circles, some fun eye shadow and of course a cute lip gloss.
I am so excited to try out that new lip gloss that I picked up at CVS!

What?! Don’t you have chocolate in your bathroom when you’re getting ready for the day? Well, you really should, it makes a world of difference! 
Look at this lip gloss color, isn’t it just perfect?! It is a tint of color but it looks amazing! It’s crazy how finding a new product for your beauty routine can make you feel so happy?!

The first thing I did in my beauty routine was take my Allegra and the last thing that I do is put on that fabulous new lip gloss that I could not live without! These are two things that I feel are important to go from drab to fab during allergy season.
After my daily beauty routine, I feel so much better. The medication makes me feel physically better and because I feel better I want to look better!
No more puffy eyes and no more dark circles.
