Have you ever been planning a vacation and you pick a destination but then you are stuck? We know where we are going but aren’t sure what all yo do when we get there. There is a new feature at visitPA.com {if you are traveling to Pennsylvania and would like information on pa-roadtrips}, called the Roadtrip-a-matic. This is a really cool feature because it does the planning for you! All you have to do is pack and you are on your way with sights/attractions, places to stay and places to eat that have been recommended for you!
When I went to the website, I planned a trip for Civil War and beyond. My husband and boys would love a trip that is focused around history and war!
Here is some of the information that I got for a trip:
Civil War Trails and Beyond
Follow me to 1863
Duration: Four days and three nights
History buffs and reenactors, moms and middle-schoolers, take note: this roadtrip is packed with stops along the Pennsylvania towns, museums, railroad stops and second-story bedrooms that stood witness to our country’s greatest struggle.
It broke down the trip by each day and provided a print option to allow me to take it with us on the roadtrips each day and maps. I love that it also included suggestions for places to eat and places to stay!
I am fascinated with Pennsylvania and it is on my list of places to visit. I would love to have you visit their website and tell me which trip you would plan for yourself or family! You can visit their website at www.visitPA.com!

Go PA! I grew up in PA and one of the best field trips going to Gettysburg and learning more about the Civil War. Or if you are in the eastern PA visiting Philadelphia is a trip not to miss. I'm homesick now…can't wait to visit this summer!
