I recently got to try out a new product, Elmer’s Single Painters Pen’s. They are really fun to use! I created a display board for my son with some of his Kindergarten work from the year.
I picked up my Paint Pen’s at Walmart, you can see my shopping trip on Google+. There are so many different colors to choose from and at $1.97, you can afford to get several.
I grabbed Black, Orange, Green and Yellow.
When I was ready to get started, I gathered up everything that I would need. For this project I needed my display board, Painters Pens, Tape runner, stencil, artwork from my son and something to cut with.
I really like this smaller size of a tri-fold display board, it feels kind of like a giant card that I plan to sit on his dresser.
I started out by added one of his pretty pictures that he had colored. Then I wanted to stencil across the top.
I used pencil first and then went over it with the Paint Pen.

I was loving painting with the pen’s so I kept adding details.
It turned out so cute!
I will be picking up more of the Elmer’s Paint Pens in the future, they have a new spot in my craft room with the tools that I use regularly.
Here is another quick project that I did with the Paint Pen’s.
I printed out this sign for his last day of school and then just colored in some of the letters to make it bright and colorful.
I can’t believe my baby is going to first grade!
One more idea that I used the Elmer’s Paint Pen’s for is a quick and easy teacher’s gift. I picked up this little bucket for $1.
I used the yellow and orange colors to fill in the flowers.
Then I filled it with some fun summer goodies and decorated a bag to give it in. This is a cute, easy and inexpensive gift for a teacher.
