This is my final week and project in my Photography course!  I cannot believe it has been seven weeks already but I have learned so much in such a short time!  

First, let me tell you that I LOVE photography now!  This course has taught me so much and I am always taking photo’s!

This weeks assignment was to create a photography portfolio of our favorite photographs over the last few weeks.  

Of course one of my first favorites is of my GORGEOUS new grill {Thank you, Sear’s!}.

These photographs were taken from the grill where we worked on different angles of taking pictures.  I am a huge fan of taking my photo’s at a angle, so I worked alot on trying to take angles that were straight on, from above, etc. 

The rest of my favorites came from week 5 when we learned techniques on plating and lighting with our photographs.  I learned that plating is alot like staging, keep it clean and simple, you can’t go wrong with those tips!  Too many extra props draw your eye away from the food and distracts.  

Try to use colors that compliment each other as well, think about the food, plate, napkins, drinks, etc similarly to how you would decorate a room or your outfit.  

Top Tips for photographing food:

Watch your lighting.  Sunlight is great but not direct sunlight.
  
Use different angles. Experiment with using different angles, direct, above, tilts, etc.  Different angles draw attention and make people interested.  

When plating food, use simple props.  Try not to have too many where the photo feels cluttered and distracting.
Editing tools are your friend!  Before this course I very rarely would take the time to edit my photos but it is so worth the time!

I plan to use all of my new knowledge of photography on future blog work as well as photos in general.  I find myself looking for that perfect shot whenever I take a photo of my kids, on vacation, or that project that I made.

    Good and interesting efforts for the final photo graph has shared so that can know that and wonderful in this tract and interesting post shared. It is amazing and wonderful tract shared and know that.
