One of my very favorite treats in life is a warm cozy cup of coffee.  I usually start my day by making a hot pot of coffee, just that yummy smell makes me happy and gets me going for the day.  I was excited to hear that Sam’s Club had a new Starbucks Holiday Blend coffee because I was headed out shopping and added the coffee to me list of essentials.  I am hosting a Cookie Exchange with some family and Starbucks coffee with some Yummy Sam’s Club muffins sounded like a perfect treat.
I almost always brew my coffee at home, but I do splurge sometimes and grab myself a drink at a coffee shop.  I really like flavored coffees, latte’s and cappuccino too.  So, Starbucks coffee shop is usually were I stop beause there are so many different drinks that I love.

I found the Starbuck’s Holiday Coffee display at Sam’s Club right away.  The coffee comes in a large 28oz. bag and costs $18.98, which will last me well through all my Holiday gatherings.  Starbucks Holiday Coffee Blend is “Spicy & Sweet with hints of comfort & joy” and pairs beautifully with Sam’s Club Artisan Cinnamon Crunch Muffins.  The complimentary notes on the Starbucks coffee includes ginger, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange and cloves.  I think the Sam’s Club Artisan cinnamon rolls would also pair nicely but I was unable to find those.

After I got home with my groceries, I decided to brew a pot of my new coffee and give it a taste test.  Having a warm mug of coffee while I finished decorating my Christmas tree and the rest of my house.  I like a little cream and sugar with my coffee.  This Starbucks Holiday Blend was delicious, such a smooth coffee.

Then I tried pairing the Starbucks coffee with the Artisan Cinnamon muffin.  The muffin really brought out the cinnamon flavor in the coffee.  They are a perfect pair!  #DeliciousPairings

Not only was this a scrumptious treat for myself while I was enjoying some quiet time decorating our home for Christmas, but it is perfect to serve at my Cookie Exchange.
Have you ever hosted or attended a Cookie ExchangeThey are alot of fun!  Everyone brings enough cookies to exchange a dozen with everyone.  That way, you end up baking one type of cookie but end up with several different varieties in the end!
Here is a little coffee and muffin buffet that I put together for the exchange.  I can’t wait to share details about all the cookies and even the little gifts that I put together for everyone!
