Homemade French Bread

January 18, 2016

There’s nothing like the smell of fresh french bread in the oven to warm a house.  I’ve had a passion for making bread ever since I was a teenager at home, Mom taught me early on how to make bread and it’s always been one of my favorite things to bake.

Sunday seems to be so much more relaxing when there’s a slow cooker full of soup and warm bread on the counter ready for dinner. One of our favorites to make is the Five Ingredient Chili recipe that we shared last week and today we have a simple Homemade French Bread that absolutely anyone can make! Check out the recipe below!

I love the message that Truvia is spreading this January, Life with Less.  What that means to me is that I don’t have to make fancy recipes with 30 ingredients to make them amazing.  I can make homemade bread for my family that’s easy and has simple ingredients that anyone can find!  IMG_5027

Life with Less Ingredients is just as sweet, if not sweeter!  Because making things easier gives me more time to spend with my family.  More time to create delicious meals and less time at the grocery store or on a hunt to find special foods.  Life with Less is just better.

    I love homemade french bread!

Growing up, my babysitter used to make a fresh loaf every few days. Thanks for bringing that memory back to me thru this post 🙂

I agree – there is truly NOTHING like fresh bread that comes out of your own oven. This looks fantastic!
