Did you see my Chocolate Peppermint Lip Gloss back in December?  It’s the best lip balm that I have ever used so today I thought I would make a new Vanilla Lip Balm that was just as moisturizing to use and easy to make!  I’m definitely on a DIY Beauty kick and I am loving making all these homemade recipes!

What I love about these homemade lip balm’s is that they are made of all natural ingredients that you can eat and not get sick and I promise you will not find a better store bought lip balm that you like as much!  It’s totally worth taking 30 minutes to make these!

How to Make Vanilla Lip Balm

Materials You Need

Instructions

Step 1 – Use a knife or grater to grate or cut up the beeswax

Step 2 – Place the Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Beeswax in a microwave safe bowl and melt on high for 30 seconds, stir gently and microwave for another 30 seconds.  The ingredients should be melted and look like the consistency of cooking oil

Step 3 – Mix in the Rodelle Vanilla. I use a good quality vanilla and Rodelle is my favorite!

Step 4 – Pour the mixture into the Lip Gloss Containers and let it harden before using, this took about 5 minutes.  This made 6 small containers of lip balm and 5 Tubes.
