Here’s our list of 10 Things you MUST do at Mall of America!
You cannot visit Mall of America without a visit to Nickelodeon Universe! It’s one of the best parts of the mall! There’s something for everyone there, rides for young kids and those who love thrill rides too!
My suggestion is to get a wristband for the day, it’s the best option because you will have unlimited rides all day long. That means when the line is short on your favorite roller coaster, you can go again and again! With 27 thrilling rides, your day will be full of fun!
Dutchman’s Deck Adventure Course
Experience Dutchman’s Deck — the ultimate adventure course. Reach new heights on the Ghostly Gangplank , the tallest Sky Trail® ropes course in the world, challenging guests to climb 56’ above Nickelodeon Universe®. Then take the plunge on Anchor Drop, a spiral slide experience that will have you twisting down to the ground. If you’re ready for more, take flight on Barnacle Blast — the longest indoor zip line in North America that will send you soaring 55 feet above the park.

If you’re ready for more, take flight on Barnacle Blast — the longest indoor zip line in North America that will send you soaring 55 feet above the park. Check out my son in the video below – he went several times on the zip line and said it was a blast!

When we lived in Minnesota this is a place we would visit regularly, the kids loved just walking through and watching the fish for hours!

Visit The LEGO Store for a giant pick-a-brick wall with 180 different LEGO elements to choose from. Plus, there’s a variety of play tables to inspire creativity and eight larger-than-life models, including a LEGO robot towering over 34 feet tall!
If you have a little girl, you cannot visit Mall of America without making a stop at American Girl. Yes, they’re expensive if you purchase a doll but it’s worth every penny to see you little gal light up with all the dolls, outfits, and accessories! Not to mention there is a cafe and even a salon for the dolls to get all done up!
It’s an experience all on its own!

This is not your ordinary indoor mini golf, this is THE BEST indoor mini golf! It’s challenging too! You’ll want to give yourself plenty of time when you stop at Moose Mountain Adventure Golf.
Moose Mountain Adventure Golf is an 18-hole miniature golf course certain to provide a fun adventure for the entire family. The course features an original, whimsical design with an old-time north woods feel – complete with a life size moose, horses and more!

The attraction is a fully immersive experience including wind, mist and even scents while soaring across some of America’s most spectacular sights.
The Escape Game
The Escape Game is an amazing adventure where you work as a team to escape from a location! Our favorite was the Prison Break! You’ve been wrongfully accused of a crime and sentenced to life in prison and your cell once belonged to an inmate that disappeared without a trace!
Radisson Blu Hotel
The Radisson Blu is probably one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Just look at the photo of the lobby to get a feel for what I mean!
Attached to the Mall of America, this hotel is the perfect location to stay. Also, if you fly in, there are shuttles every 30 minutes to the airport.
Whenever we come to Mall of America, this is the hotel we pick to stay at because of the convenience and how amazing the hotel really is!
Our Favorite Places to Eat
Mexican at its best! Make sure to have the Guacamole! They make it tableside and it’s like nothing you’ve had before! Deliciously fresh and almost a meal on its own!
I think I’ve talked about this restaurant in my previous post, The Perfect Girls Weekend at Mall of America, but it’s still the best burger I’ve ever had! The beef is amazing and the flavor combinations that they put into the burgers are perfection. I would suggest the John Wayne burger or the Mac Daddy (it has cheese curds on it)!
Bubba Gump Shrimp
This is one of our favorite places to eat so, of course, it made the list because they have one at Mall of America!
Forrest Gump has decided to get into the restaurant business and share all of his favorite recipes from Mama, Bubba, Lieutenant Dan and Jenny. The good news for all you seafood lovers out there is that most of these favorites include shrimp. Boiled, fried, baked or steamed—any way you like your shrimp cooked, it’s on Bubba Gump’s menu.
When are you going to visit Mall of America? I know you’ll have an amazing time!
