Do you know all the different ways you can use baking Soda around the house? At less than $2 for a box, it’s one of the most economical household products that can be used in many different ways. Today we have a list of 15 Household Uses for Baking Soda that you may not have thought of!

Freshen Your Fridge – Place an open box of Baking Soda in your fridge to keep it smelling fresh!

Give Your Laundry a Boost – Add 1/2 cup of Baking Soda to your laundry and make your laundry detergent work better and have cleaner and fresher clothes!

Get Rid of Bathtub Stains – Create a paste with Baking Soda and Water, scrub your bathtub with a sponge and the paste.

Get Your Pans Clean – Add Baking Soda to simmered water and place in the pan you need to remove burned food from.

Clean Your Kitchen Sink – Use Baking Soda and water to scrub your sink and make it shiny!

Dishwasher – Run an empty load in the dishwasher with just Baking Soda

Clean up Microwave Messes – Add a couple teaspoons of Baking Soda to a bowl of water and microwave for five minutes, then wipe down the microwave.

Get Rid of Carpet Oder – Sprinkle Baking Soda over the carpet and then vacuum to remove smells

Clean Furniture – Use a small amount of Baking Soda on a damp rag and scrub spills and stains

Enjoy a Bath Soak – Add 1/2 Cup Baking Soda to your bath and relax

Treat a Cold – Make Homemade Vapor Shower Discs to clear up a cold

Freshen Your Mattress – Sprinkle Baking Soda on your mattress and let sit for an hour,then vacuum.

Help Skin Flare Ups – Apply to acne on your skin to help sooth and heal

Toilet Cleaner – Add 1 cup of Baking Soda and 1 Cup of Vinegar to your Toilet to clean

SEPTIC CARE– Add 1 cup of Baking Soda in your drains to keep your septic system running smoothly
