Celebrating and Cleaning Pet Messes Like a Pro

May 9, 2018   |   Leave a Comment

WONDER® MOP
I am crazy about my sweet little dog Lily. She always makes me smile, she is my go-to girl for cuddles and makes for great company no matter what I am up to.  It is not uncommon to find her curled up on my lap, or at my feet when I am busy cooking! With her loyalty comes a few messes; keeping up with the cleaning routine ensures that no one assumes my favorite color is dog hair.

Keeping up with the messes doesn’t have to be complicated. With simple supplies and tools, any pet mess is manageable to give you more time to enjoy your 4 legged best friend! I like to use a long time favorite brand of mop, a lint roller and several other simple tools to keep my house clean and comfortable for the entire family; Lily included naturally!

Puppy feet can track in mud and dirt, as we all know. This is where my Libman Freedom Spray Mop comes into play. I love that I can go over my floors, collecting the dirt, debris and pet hair easily. Considering this mop is super affordable at under $25, this is a must have product for pet families! I love that it has a 360 degree head to really grab dirt and dog hair! The washable pad is also a great feature of this Libman mop. I love that I don’t need to pick up refills to keep my floor clean.

After the floors are sparkling I like to grab my lint roller and touch up the areas that hair can cling to, such as the bottom of appliances, baseboards and table legs. I always run it over the furniture too! Collecting stray hairs is really easy with the lint roller method!

The key to a fresh and inviting home also lies in the way your house smells! Luckily when I mopped with my Libman Freedom Spray Mop I captured and odor causing bacteria on the floor! To keep the upholstered areas like carpets drapes, furniture, and the super posh doggy bed that Lily likes to relax in smelling sweet, I use a simple spray refresher for fabrics.

The job of keeping a tidy home with pets isn’t complete until I make a trip around the yard to clean up after the sweet girl outside too. Being proactive about potential messes really helps to keep the floors inside cleaner, which saves me time. The time that I would much rather spend with Lily over cleaning!

This is the perfect time of year to pick up a new Libman mop to help your family embrace the messes and enjoy the time with your pet! You can check out all of their great home cleaning products online or in stores nationwide.

With a few simple and time-tested tools and supplies it is possible to keep any home with pets clean, fresh and inviting. If you have a great tip for keeping house with a dog I would love to hear about it!
