It’s the second week of June already! Even though my boys just got out of school, the 4th of July celebrations will be here before you know it. I will always remember that summer holiday as a huge event in our hometown. We always had the parade that would ride on a float in for swim team, there was all the activities at our town park with rides, food and more. Plus, the amazing fireworks display at night. As a kid, that was the highlight of the summer.
We always got together with my Grandparents that day too for a BBQ with Aunts, Uncles and cousins. It was a lot of fun with some delicious food. I was thinking about it already this year and decided to make a fun 4th of July Fruit Pizza that was full of red, white and blue.
