Decorating with Pumpkins

5 Ways to Decorate Pumpkins:

1. Give them a pop of paint.
Find some colorful spray paints and give your pumpkins a pop of color! All you need to do is place your pumpkin on a piece of newspaper and apply two coats of spray paint, allowing plenty of drying time in between. Then, display them on a shelf, mantel, or wherever you please!

2. Give them some glitz.
Apply a coat of clear adhesive spray to your pumpkin and then sprinkle with fine glitter. It will create a look that is dazzling! Display your glittery creation on a mantel or even a stairway or front porch. Everyone is sure to notice.

3. Create a flower vase.
Carve out a dip into your pumpkin and place a small bowl or vase inside. Then, fill the vessel with wildflowers, mums, or other fall flowers. This pumpkin vase makes the perfect everyday centerpiece or is even special enough to act as party décor.

4. Start carving.
Get creative with your carving and download the many patterns available online. You can even create a pumpkin with your family name! Forget the simple jack-o-lantern face, get creative and really make your pumpkin pop with some fun patterns.

5. Do darling decoupage.
Find some fun pics in your favorite magazine, cut them out, and decoupage these designs onto your pumpkin. Place these festive pumpkins in bathrooms, on tables, desks, or even use as centerpieces. There is no limit to what you can create.

When you give these tips a try, you get away from the typical, boring pumpkin. Give these tips a go and see how easy it is to really create pumpkins that pop with creativity.
