I am so excited to be starting to share travel, entertainment and other activities with everyone! I have had some great opportunities this summer and wanted to share the details with my readers to help with planning of upcoming trips!
Are you in the Minnesota area or plan to be traveling their any time soon? If you have not been to the Minnesota Zoo, I would highly recommend putting it on your list of activities that you MUST do!
We had friends from out of state visiting and decided to visit the zoo for the first time since we moved here. Not knowing what exactly to expect, we planned a couple hours to spend at the zoo but they had so much more than we could fit into a couple hour time frame.
Here are just a few of our favorite animals and experiences from the day!
I am pretty sure that these little monkey’s were my favorite animal to watch at the zoo. I love how the Mama carried the little baby around on her back. They are just like people and are fascinating to watch!
We also had a chance to watch the Zoo feed the penguins while we were there. I think all the kids could have sat and watched this all day!
The bears were another favorite animal of the boys in the group. My youngest thought they looked cute and cuddly, I’m not so sure that I agree!
The kids had a chance to get silly and play in a couple of the playgrounds that the Zoo has to offer. I love this! It gives the kids a chance to get crazy and the parents time to sit and catch their breath!
Yes, my boys are crazy! Can you tell which one is the naughty brother?
There is also an opportunity to actually feed the Giraffe yourself at the Minnesota Zoo! You can get up close and personal with this animal if you want! It was so amazing to watch them and actually have the chance to feed them!
I cannot say enough great things about the Minnesota Zoo, it was by far the best zoo that we have ever been to and we plan to be regular visitors from now on. If you are in the area and have not had a day at the zoo, I hope that you schedule it soon!
You can find more information on the Minnesota Zoo on their website, Twitter and Facebook.
