This past Christmas, I received one of the best gifts ever. It was a gift from my Grandparents that my Grandpa had made for me. He painted me black and white paintings of the houses we have lived in over the years. They are amazing!! He did such a wonderful job on them.
I see these pictures and not only to I think of all the homes we have been in, but the friends and family times that we shared in them. But, mostly I am so honored to have art work in my home that was created by my Grandpa, and I will treasure that for ever.
This picture is a little blurry, sorry, I am not a photographer. LOL. This house was the one we just moved from. It was the home that my husband built from the ground up for me. He was able to make the home that I had in my head, a reality, on the outside and the inside. This house had a lot of sweat, blood and tears in it.
