Back to School Ideas: Lunch Box Jokes

August 15, 2013   |   4 Comments

It’s back to school time! Are you looking for some new back to school ideas for the year?  This year start a new, fun tradition by adding a joke to your child’s lunch every day. Send some extra love along with a laugh each day in their lunch box.

My boys love this!  They look forward to finding a note or joke in their lunch every day!  It’s adorable and I love how excited they get about these little things, it really makes me look forward to making their lunch each morning.  I know that half way through their day, they will have a moment where they think of Mom, I love that!

Your child will soon be the hit of the lunch table and everyone will be waiting to hear what today’s joke is!

Grab this Lunch Box Joke Printable ready to go with 6 great school-themed jokes. Once you run out I included a template for you to use to write out your own jokes!

You can print our your own Lunch Box Jokes and then simply cut them apart.  I like to laminate ours so that I can use then multiple times for multiple kids.  My boys never get tired of the jokes so using them one every other month doesn’t bother them at all.

Here is the blank template you can use to make your own jokes when you run out of the jokes listed above!

What do you do to make your kids excited about back to school?  Do you have some crafts, activities, snacks, or other ways that you celebrate?  I would love to hear about them!

What a fun idea, my son’s still a little young for this but as soon as he’s old enough it’s something I think I’ll do. Thanks 🙂
