Back To School Notebook Makeover

July 18, 2013   |   12 Comments

Can you believer that school is right around the corner?  We went to Walmart this week and school supplies are out!  Gasp!  No!!  But, what is the best part of going back to school?  School supplies!  I have a school supply addiction for sure!

While I was browsing through the school supplies aisle, I found a super cute notebook and decided to use it for back to school activities.  This notebook was so colorful and I knew that I could use it for tracking all my blog ideas.  I love it!  You could also use this as a quick summer activity for kids project that your child could do.  They could make some cute school supplies for this fall.

I decided to do a notebook makeover with just a couple materials.  How cute is the back to school notebook makeover?  You can find the instructions listed below.  I hope you give it a try!

    • Scissors

Step 3 – Tie your ribbons along the side of the notebook

That’s it!  You have a cute little notebook to use for school, blogging, or anything.

This would be a great idea for a teachers gift idea or a gift friend.  You could add some cute pens, markers, etc. and make a nice and inexpensive gift.

Are you starting to get ready for back to school yet?  My kids don’t head back until after Labor Day but we are already starting to think about getting organized and ready.  This is just one of our back to school activities that we will be sharing over the weeks with everyone so be sure to stop back regularly!

I love this! The ribbon makes a huge difference in the overall look of the notebook. I will absolutely have to do this with all of the ribbon scraps I have accumulated! Thanks so much for sharing! Stopping by from Hoyby Crafts.

What a fab idea – I think I might need to do this on my own notebook as well, as starting to look scruffy!

I would love for you to link up this post at the Empty Your Archive party we’re focused on back to school posts this week but you can also share your great old posts on over 100 different topics in the Mummy Archive, which is a fab resource bank for mums – Alice xx

How cute is that? SO CUTE! I am totally depressed about all the “back to school” stuff… we are only 4 weeks into summer here so I want to stay in the “bubble” as long as possible.
