Fall decor ideas to make your home ready to welcome guests!
I’m sharing Febreze in my life as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™
The weather is turning a bit cooler, leaves are starting to turn yellow and orange, pumpkins are showing up all over town, and all the other signs that fall is here. Being my favorite season of the year, I’m always more than ready to decorate my house for fall.
I’m not someone who likes Halloween decorations, but anything pumpkin, apples, orange or yellow is going to show up in my house for the fall holidays. I actually don’t go too crazy with my decorating but there are a few things that I like to do to get the house ready for fall.
I love fresh flowers and every season or holiday, I like to order a couple arrangements to have in the house that make a huge statement. I’m so lucky to have an amazing florist close by and she always pulls my ideas together and makes them happen. This year, I have two arrangements, one on my kitchen island and one on the coffee table. They’re both very similar and have an amazing assortment of fall colors in them.
If I could only do one thing to decorate my home it would be fresh flowers every single time. I just love how they make the home feel warm and cozy.
Decorate Your Front Porch
I don’t decorate with Halloween decorations but I still like to have our front porch decorated for the little kids in their costumes when they stop by for candy. This year I have a bunch of mums, pumpkins and we even pulled an old door into the corner and added a fall wreath with some lights on it.
I didn’t spend a lot on these decorations but they sure give the house a welcoming fall feel.
Fall Scented Candles and Spray
Febreze has a Fresh Fall Pumpkin candle that adds pleasant ambiance and scent to the room. Plus, it goes perfectly with my decor on the kitchen island!
I like the Febreze AIR Fresh Pressed Apple too, the fresh apple scent is a great one to use during the fall or winter months. Hold the can upright, squeeze the trigger, and spray in a sweeping kind of motion for noticeable freshness (no need to shake this can!) in any room.
These are my three favorite tips for fall decor ideas that make your home beautiful and welcoming to your family and guests. What types of things do you do to decorate or create a fall feeling in your home?
