Do you ever look around a room in your home and wonder what you can do to spice it up a bit? If you’ve thought about this on numerous occasions, you’re just like me. When I moved into my home, I didn’t put that much effort into decorating the living room because I focused on other rooms, such as the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom.
I got tired of how my living room looked, so I decided to make a significant change. I didn’t want to spend too much money, so I’ve turned the transformation into my little do-it-yourself project. I must say, it’s been therapeutic, and I’m enjoying the changes I’ve made thus far.
Finding the Perfect Accents to Help With the Transformation
I’m a picky person when it comes to room layouts and designs, so you can imagine how much effort went into finding the perfect fixtures and accents to use in the bedroom during the upgrade. During my search, I came across Home Depot’s website and decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Home Depot offers fantastic online-only decor options, including furniture, wall decoration, and other convenient fixtures that will look great in any bedroom.
One of the first things I wanted to do was get rid of the old comforter we had and replace them with something bright and more feminine that went better with my home’s theme. While searching for something new, I came across the this beautiful white set that had the perfect small amount of detail on it that gave the bedroom a whole new feel – you know that there’s a woman living here when you see this soft white bedding.
Using Items at Home Depot to Upgrade the Bedroom
I love pillows and blankets but it feels like they’re always all over the place – on the floor or across a chest and they just never look cute and put together like I see on Pinterest! I had a goal of finding a large basket to keep all of the extra throw pillows in our bedroom.
When I ordered this Square Natural Bamboo and Leather Decorative Basket with Leather Handles – I was pleasantly surprised on the size of it when I picked it up. Not only did I fall in love with it, but I was also shocked by the low price. It was a great price for the size of product that I got!
Once I found a new comforter, I was on a mission to find other great items to use in my bedroom. I came across some simple Farmhouse metal lantern candle holders from Home Depot that fit in with other items I already had in the home. I love the distressed white with a bit of natural wood looking accent. They go perfectly on my hope chest that was built by my Grandpa as a gift when I graduated high school.
If you’re anything like me, you want to upgrade a room in your home while sticking to a tighter budget. If that’s the case, I recommend shopping at Home Depot for all your necessities. You can save up to 30% percent on select decor, furniture, and kitchenware items by visiting the website and checking Home Depot’s spring sale.
