When I’m traveling, one of my favorite things to do is eat. Getting to experience different restaurants is a lot of fun. While in Minnesota, I was able to eat at some amazing establishments. It’s only fair if I share these with you!
Murray’s Steakhouse
First of all, I’m a sucker for a good steakhouse. In a world where there are tons of fast food restaurants, sometimes you just want to sit down and enjoy a good steak. That’s exactly what I did when I was at Murray’s. One of my favorite parts of this restaurant is their “ legendary 28 oz strip sirloin for 2, hand-cut by our in-house butcher Boyd, who has been with us for 37 years.” I mean, THAT is loyalty.
Hell’s Kitchen
Hell’s Kitchen has an awesome reputation, so I knew it was going to be an amazing place to eat and it was! Whether you want to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they will serve you! The best part is this restaurant is open 7 days a week, so you can catch a great meal anytime. And no, this restaurant has NOTHING to do with Gordon Ramsey. Hell’s Kitchen is a must when you’re in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Union Restaurant
I cannot say I have eaten on a lot of rooftop bars, but Union Restaurant is awesome. If you’re in the mood for some American Fare, they have you covered. While they have two unique dining options, I chose the rooftop bar. The rooftop bar is glass enclosed and opened year round, it’s truly a unique experience. They serve items like burgers, appetizers, and sandwiches and of course, any type of adult drink you can imagine.
Dakota Blues Club
Whether you’re interested in fine dining or listening to some of the best entertainment around with an amazing drink, you’ve come to the right place. The Dakota Blues Club is all about the music. They always have a ton of events happening and you can see the calendar, right on their website. If you get the chance, stop by here and enjoy it all.
We had the chance to hear Mae Simpson the night we were there, she’s amazing! The night was full of drinks, food and lots of dancing!
The Local
Last, but not least – I had the chance to visit The Local while I was in town. You have to go here because you do actually feel like a local. This bar and venue focuses on serving Irish Food and Drinks. Of course, there is always good beer to have here. The bar here is also super beautiful. You’ll want to give The Local is amazing, give it a taste while here!
