You all know that I LOVE to travel, right? With my love for travel in mind, you better believe I explored Minneapolis, Minnesota and had a great time doing so. While exploring Minneapolis, I realized how great this city is and how much there is to do. Come along with me as I tell you what I did while in the city.
State Theatre
One of the first things I did, while in Minnesota was visit the State Theatre. One of my favorite artists ever was there performing. Amos Lee! Located at 805 Hennepin Ave, you’re going to have the time of your life. I enjoyed our concert here, but if you haven’t been, they always have concerts and events being held here, make sure you check it out.
Pantages Theatre
I can’t let you guys think that I only went to one concert while I was in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The next event that I hit up was Bert Kreisher at the Pantages Theatre You guys, he is so funny! I really enjoyed being able to laugh and have a good time. Sometimes you just need to hear a good comedian, like Bert, to help you get through life!
Embury Spa
Every good vacation call for an awesome stone massage. I have to tell you that the hot stone massage is just what I needed to truly relax on this vacation. It was so relaxing and I can’t wait to go back. If you’re interested, their most common massage is the Aromatherapy. Embury Spa was professional, timley, and very talented. I guarantee you’ll have the best hot stone massage of your life here, I did.
Paisley Park
If you’re a huge fan of Prince, then you’re going to love visiting Paisley Park. Located in Chanhassen, Minnesota, you get a first hand look at Prince’s life as an artist. You can take a backstage tour at his ability to produce and perform. It’s an amazing complex and worth taking the private tour.
Mill City Museum
When I’m on a trip, I like to learn too. Minneapolis, Minnesota is the perfect city to learn in. Mill City Museum is a super affordable tour at only $12 for an adult and $6 for kids ages 5-17. There are special exhibits as well as a view of the rich history of this great city. You’ll also see the limestone ruins of the Washburn A. Mill. This is a very historic place to visit, but also a lot of fun.
I loved my trip to Minneapolis, Minnesota and can’t wait to go back. What’s your favorite part of this great city?
