Can you believe that we’re in the final weeks of 2015? How crazy is it to think that there are ten days left until Christmas and then just another week after that until New Year’s Eve! I’m starting to panic that I may not be ready this year, which honestly happens every year and somehow we always manage to get everything ready for the Holidays.
We actually had a party over the weekend and I made this simple California Ripe Olive Appetizer that literally has three ingredients AND my son helped me make.
These are the type of things I like to serve at parties because they are so easy to make and always go over so well with everyone! Check out how we made them below and be sure to scroll down for an AMAZING FREE Printable Calendar for 2016 that has recipes and coloring on every page! My son loves it!
How to Make California Ripe Olive Appetizer
Ingredients You Need
- 1 Can California Black Ripe Olives, I used Medium
- Salami or Prosciutto
- Mozzarella Cheese Balls, I used Pearls
- Tooth Picks
Assemble these by placing a black olive, piece of meat and mozzarella on a tooth pick and serve! It doesn’t get much easier than this!
I love recipes where I can have my kids help and assembling recipes like this is a great way to have them help out! Plus, these always go over a great at parties. People really like finger foods that they can grab and go.

What I love about this is that it has coloring pages and recipes on every page! It’s great for adults AND kids too!
My son spent an afternoon coloring and filing out his calendar to use in his room. He put all his sports activities, school concerts and breaks plus birthdays on the calendar and now has it on the wall in his room.
