Do you save your Box Tops off of General Mills products? Did you know that each one of those Box Tops is worth $.10 to a school? That really adds up! Here is another really cool program that will earn even more for your school, it’s called Jingit. The great thing about this program is that you earn extra Box Tops for your school just by scanning bar codes in the store AND you earn cash for yourself! That means you get paid to shop! How do you get started? First, you need to download the app onto your smartphone and pick the school you would like to donate to.
Then you just start shopping! When I was at Walmart, I just scanned bar codes of General Mills products and earned my boys elementary extra Box Tops and myself some cash!
How does it work? When you are at Walmart, open the Jingit app and log in with your Facebook account.
Next, you will want to check in at the store.
It will take a second and then bring up the engagements near you.
Click on the item that you want to scan and then answer a question or two and you are done!
The upper right hand corner where it saw $1.00, that is how much I earned!
What is great about the Jingit and Box Top program is that you are earning for the schools by buying things that you already need and use. Here is what I ended up purchasing on my trip to Walmart this morning.
I earned 21 Box Tops (some of these had extra Box Tops included) just with my purchases. PLUS, I also earned extra Box Tops with Jingit.
With so many schools lacking the funding that they need for our children to have adequate education services these days, I think as parents it is our responsibility to help out. Using programs such as Jingit and Box Tops makes it easy to contribute and help our schools and our children.
Head on over to Walmart to learn more and watch the video on how to earn and donate. Then, go to Jingit and download the app and start scanning, earning, and donating! What a fun shopping trip!
What a great way to earn a little extra money!
I will have to look into this. We save our box tops for a friend. But this is pretty cool too!
