Chicken and Noodle Recipe

January 6, 2012   |   6 Comments

While you are here, head over and sign up for my Giveaway that is going on!!  🙂
This recipe is soooo Yummmy!  I think it’s the stick of butter that goes in it that makes it absolutely amazing!!  This isn’t a Chicken and Noodle soup, although with more Chicken stock you could make it soup.  It is more the noddles that go over mashed potatoes.
Here are the ingredients, minus the butter and seasonings.
I bake my chicken breasts in the oven with some garlic, salt and pepper on them.
Mix the two cans of Chicken broth and 2 can of Cream of Chicken in a pot and start to heat it up.  Add the stick of butter.
Cut the chicken breasts into cubes after they have baked and cooled slightly.
Add the chicken to the broth mixture.  About 30 minutes before you are ready to eat, add the noodles.  I have made this in the crock pot, but if you add the noodles too soon they just become a mush.  It still tastes super good, but kind of yucky looking.
Enjoy this plain or over top of some mashed potatoes.
Super Yummy!!  Enjoy!!
Chicken and Noodles
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups wide egg noodles
1 stick of butter
2 cans of Chicken broth
2 cans of Cream of Chicken soup
2 cups of cooked, diced chicken meat
salt
pepper
garlic
Directions:
Bake chicken breasts in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.  Bring large pot of chicken broth, cream of chicken and butter to almost boil.  Dice the chicken breasts and add to the broth mixture.  Add noodles and cook until they are tender.

Sharing is caring!
