Christmas Ornaments Made with Legos

December 11, 2013   |   1 Comment

My boys are getting older (11 & 8) so getting them to do Christmas Crafts with me every year is getting harder and harder.  I can usually talk my little guy into doing them with me but the older guy isn’t really into it any more.  Until I mentioned making some Christmas ornaments from Lego’s and then he was all over it.

I asked both of my boys to come up with some Christmas Lego Ornament ideas for me and make their best creations.  They did really well and spent an hour being creative and making fun Christmas decorations for us to add to our tree or décor.

Christmas Lego Ornaments Your Kids Can Make

I think making candy canes or Christmas trees are probably pretty easy to make with Lego’s so most kids can figure out how to make them.  After they created these little guys, they wanted to look online and see what others had made with Lego’s, it was a lot of fun.  There are some serious Lego creations out there!

We now have little Lego Christmas creations all over the house and they actually fit in with our décor for the holidays.  The boys did good!

How do you get your kids involved with the Christmas preparations and festivities?  I think as my kids are getting older, it’s getting harder and harder to find projects for us to do together that they still think are fun.  I will always be able to get them excited and wanting to participate when I mention Lego’s though.  I don’t think they will ever outgrow those!

What fun things have your kids made with Lego’s?  Have they made anything practical?  Be sure to check out our Easy Christmas Crafts Pinterest Board for more ideas!

I never cease to be amazed at the variety of Christmas tree ornaments there are on the market. This is one of the more unique ones I have found! I personally don’t buy ornaments unless it is unique and memorable!
