Cinnamon Roll Cake

You’ve never tasted such a delicious combination of cinnamon roll and cake! Make this Cinnamon Roll Cake to taste cinnamon and sugar heaven! 



For cake –

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

 For spread –

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

For – Glaze

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoon water


Bring this cake with you to your next gathering. You won’t believe how quickly people eat it up. Make a double batch though, one for your family and one for your guests. You’ll never regret making such a yummy cake. 

Set oven to preheat at 350 degrees F i.e.176 degree C

Mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, baking soda with a whisk. In a separate bowl mix the milk, eggs and vanilla extract. Sift the dry ingredients into the wet and mix slightly, now add in the melted butter. Mix until combined well.

Use some baking spray to spray a rectangular 8×8 (21cmx21cm) inch cake pan, and pour the batter evenly into the pan.

In a bowl mix brown sugar and cinnamon together and spread evenly on the cake. Swirl the sugar and cinnamon into the batter using a skewer.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degree F, let cool completely.

Mix the powdered sugar, vanilla extract and water until it is a consistency like pancake syrup. Pour over the cake and it will set as a hard glaze.

Enjoy with a cup of coffee.
