I typically don’t make or share a ton of adult drinks here at The Taylor House, mostly because I don’t really know how to make a great drink. I leave that area of entertaining to some of my closest friends who are experts when it comes to mixed drinks. I usually stick to my favorite bottle of wine, you can’t go wrong with that! I thought this year I would try my hand at making a new drink and see how it came out and I think I did pretty good.
We have a delicious last minute Cranberry Moscato Punch recipe to share with everyone that’s perfect for Christmas or New Years Eve. If you haven’t decided what to serve with dinner on Christmas Eve or as a cocktail at your New Years Eve party, this is one of my favorites.
If you don’t want to serve alcohol, you could make this into a non-alcoholic version pretty easily by substituting a soda like Sierra Mist or something similar in place of the wine.
How to Make Cranberry Moscato Punch
- 1 Bottle of Mirassou Moscato Wine
- 1 Cup of Cranberry Juice
- 1/2 Cup Orange Juice
- 1 – 2 Cups Fresh Cranberries
- 1 Sliced Lemon
Step 1 – Pour your cranberry and orange juice into the pitcher
Step 2 – Next add your entire bottle of Mirassou Moscato wine
Step 3 – Add the cranberries and lemon slices into the pitcher
Step 4 – Let the Punch chill for an hour in the refrigerator until serving and then enjoy!
Pretty simple to make, so even I couldn’t mess it up! I am a Moscato girl when it comes to wine and the Mirassou is my absolute favorite brand. I love a really sweet wine and it’s the perfect blend to use in a holiday punch like this!
What are you serving this holiday season? Making a delicious and festive drink like the Cranberry Moscato Punch is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
