Cruising Alaska with Princess Cruises

June 18, 2015   |   Leave a Comment

Earlier this year, I had an amazing opportunity present it’s self.  You saw my Packing for an Alaska Cruise post earlier this month so you knew this was coming. I’m not going to lie, I had to pinch myself a little when I read the email and realized I had the chance to cruise to Alaska for 8 days with my hubby on a blog trip.

Ok, truth time, I had the best job ever!  Seriously guys, who goes to Alaska on a cruise for work?  I’m so incredibly blessed to have this opportunity and wanted to share some of the details with you!

Cruising Alaska with Princess Cruises!

There were a lot of firsts on this trips for me – first time in Alaska, first time on a cruise first time in a helicopter, first time meeting my friend Princess Pinky Girl, and the list goes on and on.  I can’t begin to tell you how amazing the trip was and without a doubt I highly and whole heartily recommend Princess Cruises to anyone who is thinking about cruising.  They are the ONLY way to cruise!

One of the first things I noticed when I got aboard the Ruby Princess is that it was just like a city on the water.  There was absolutely everything you need or could want.  You have pools, spa, restaurant choices, stores for shopping, theaters, and so much more.  I think I might have been a little naive going into the cruise because I had no idea how it was going to be.

I have to admit, I’m terrible with directions and was actually lost most of the time I was on the ship.  I relied on my hubby and Jenn to get me to where I needed to be.  I’m just one of those people that can get lost anywhere!

Because we were cruising to Alaska, the time we spent out in the sun by the pool was pretty limited.  As you can imagine, it was cool in the mornings and night.  There was time when the sun would be out and we’d head out and soak up as much as we could.

We had several stops along the way to keep us busy, be sure to watch for my upcoming post about the amazing excursions that we experience.  Here is the itinerary though, if you’re looking to book an Alaskan Cruise I thought this was perfect.  We really experienced everything that I had visions of doing in Alaska!

Cruising Alaska with Princess Cruises! I have so much to share with you from our cruise that I just cannot get it all into one post so be sure to check back when I share more great photos and information about the Spa, Excursions, Food and much much more!
