Decorating for Fall

October 7, 2012   |   5 Comments

Fall Decor
I have felt so terrible the last two weeks with this stomach problem that I haven’t had the chance to blog about any fall projects!!  Nothing!!  Today I am up and feeling great so I thought I would share a few photos of my fall decor.
I’m not someone who really decorates for Halloween, I just really enjoy fall colors, pumpkins, leaves, etc.  The type of decor you put up in September and leave up until you are ready to decorate for Christmas.
Here is my dining room.  I used the plates that I purchased at World Market last month because the colors are perfect for fall!!  This is why I was so drawn to them!

The base for this centerpiece was a basket that I picked up at World Market as well, then I just started to stack cake stands and add all the pumpkins and leaves.  I’m sure I will change this several times and add in some real pumpkins.  Isn’t that the fun of decorating?  Being able to change things up whenever you feel like it.

Here is our dining room table, yes, I did forget the silverware.  oops.

This is the buffet in my dining room.  You can see the wall color in the room is a perfect color for fall!  This was the color of the room when we moved in and I love it.

These are just a couple shots as you come in the front door.  Just a little bit of fall color.

 The mantel over our fireplace.

I usually don’t change my mantel much, but I am so inspired by so many of the blogs that I read where they are changing up the mantel so often.  I may have to start doing that.

These are just a few of my fall decorations.
Do you decorate for fall or Halloween? I would love to see your decor, leave me a comment with a link and I will check it out!  🙂

Also, be sure to stop and enter to win the Favorites from Quote the Walls!  You could make some awesome fall lettering for a wall or project if you win!!
