Delicious Summer Breakfast Options

August 15, 2013   |   Leave a Comment

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walmart. All opinions are 100% mine.

Summer can be busy! Whether the kids are running to camp in the morning, or back and forth from swim lessons and baseball practice, it is so important to get them a great breakfast to start the day and give them the energy needed to keep them going.

The days for kids are jam packed filled with physical activities in which they need tons of energy to keep them going. It is important to find healthy and nutritious breakfast options that you can make quickly during your hectic morning. Our summer breakfast routine is busy because we are trying to fit it in with packing lunches and getting sports equipment ready to go for the days’ activities.

Walmart has tons of great summer breakfast options that will be quick and easy to make, plus will be perfect to provide the kids with the energy they need to get through the day.

Martha White© Muffin Mix, for example, is something I can make the night before and pull out at breakfast time. If we are in a huge rush, these can even go with us in the car. I never have to worry that they won’t have time to eat anything.

On mornings we have a little more time and aren’t rushing out the door, I love to make Hungry Jack© waffles or pancakes. Topped with fresh fruit and/or Hungry Jack© syrup, this is one of the kids favorite breakfasts.

Another quick option is toast or a bagel topped with Smuckers© brand Jams, Jellies and Preserves . Any of these options are so much healthier than a drive thru breakfast.

And of course my morning isn’t quite complete without my cup of Folgers© Coffee. But whatever breakfast choices you choose, you can always find the best prices at Walmart!
