Summer is here, actually we’ve just finished some major projects and have started to step more time relaxing and having fun. That means I’ve been in the kitchen more creating delicious cocktail and drink recipes to enjoy out back with my hubby and friends. I was excited to try Prairie Vodka last week after they sent me a couple bottles to use and create with.
We had picked up a huge watermelon over the weekend so I took advantage of it and used part in a drink recipe. One of my favorite drinks is Lemonade Vodka so I thought a Watermelon Vodka would be just as delicious. I was very pleased with how this amazing drink came out. It just screams summer! You can find the recipe on the next page.

I love love this drink. It was such a summery flavor that made a delicious adult drink idea. You can certainly make this without alcohol too and just mix it with lemonade and have Watermelon Lemonade, I’m sure the kids would love that!
I am loving Prairie Vodka, there is a cucumber vodka that I’m excited to use in my next recipe. Be on the look out for that one next week!
