DIY Craft Project: Paper Banner

August 30, 2013   |   1 Comment

Hey, everyone!  I am excited to have Jessica from Prairie Girl to Southern Belle back with us again today to share an adorable DIY Paper Banner craft idea.  She has some amazing project ideas and I feel so fortunate to have her here sharing with The Taylor House readers every Friday.
I love how she used the natural look of twine, doilies and paper to create this great idea!  I could see using this for a birthday party, baby shower or multiple other ideas.  Let me know what you think!  Enjoy!
I have a thing for pretty paper. And I love making banners.
Paper Banner
In preparation for opening my Etsy shop, I made a banner out of a cute paper pack. It needed something extra so I added doilies.
Last year, Kayla had a tea party birthday party so I bought a super cheap pack of about a million paper doilies.
I have a TON of doilies.
Prepare yourself for many doily projects.
Papper Banner
I glued and trimmed the doilies onto my triangles and then simply punched the corners and strung them on twine. I like the rustic look of the twine.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Stop by the blog or on my Facebook page and let me know what you think and check out some of my other projects that I have been sharing.

You can read more about Jessica by clicking on the Contributors tab at the top of the page.  Remember that Jessica is going to be opening her own Etsy shop soon, I’m sure we will have more information for you here at The Taylor House just as soon as she is up and running!
