DIY Makeup Remover Pads
At the end of a long day sometimes the last thing you want to do is spend time in the bathroom on a long makeup removing routine. That is probably makeup removing wipes have become so popular, we all love time-saving convenience! These DIY Moisturizing Makeup Remover Pads not only deliver that convenience but also save money, keep unwanted ingredients out, and work wonderfully on all skin types. Put them in a pretty jar on your counter and make them a part of your nightly beauty regime.
DIY Makeup Remover Pads
Ingredients:
1/2 cup distilled water
2 tsp. witch hazel
2 tsp. Â fractionated coconut oil
8 drops lavender essential oil
2 drops tea tree essential oil
You will also need:
cotton pads
Directions:
Fill your jar with cotton pads.
Mix together water, Castille soap, coconut oil, witch hazel and essential oils, whisk together well to combine thoroughly.
Pour over pads, soaking them all the way through, flip them over if needed to get them all wet.
Secure the lid, I found this jar in the Dollar Spot at Target but you can find a variety at craft stores, Dollar Tree, or on Amazon- I included a link to a pretty locking jar in the supplies list.
To use: Swipe pad gently across your face and eyelids in an upward motion to remove makeup or after a workout. Discard pad, follow up with a light moisturizer.
