This post was written by me through an activation with HireInfluence on behalf of Community Coffee. Although I received compensation for participating in the campaign, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Christmas is right around the corner and when I start to think about gifts to get for people I try to think about things that they love. There’s nothing worse than getting a gift that you just won’t use.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that probably 75% of the people I need to buy gifts for love coffee.  Maybe it’s more, I mean who doesn’t love coffee?

What I love to do for the coffee lovers in my life is make gift baskets full of delicious coffee, mugs, travel mugs, coffee truffles, coffee mug candles or anything that I can find that’s coffee related.  It’s always a huge hit!

For this Coffee Lovers Gift Basket, we partnered with Community Coffee and included three bags of their Private Reserve Coffee along with two travel mugs, a cute pot holder and even a DIY Candle in a Coffee Mug that we made ourselves!

It’s the perfect Holiday gift to give not just because the basket is super cute but because the coffee is amazing.  I had the chance to taste it myself and had the perfect morning cup of coffee! It’s delicious!

If you’ve never made DIY Candles before, it’s really easy.  I wanted to share the steps with you so you can add these to your gift baskets this year too!

Things you will need:

Coffee Mug

Candle wax flakes, you will need enough flakes to fill your mug up TWICE.

Candle wicks

Pencils or Straw

Glass bowl

Directions:

Wrap the end of your candle wick around your straw and place in the mug (see photo).  Place the Candle wax in a glass bowl and melt on high in the microwave until it’s a liquid consistency.  Pour into the coffee mug and let harden.  This takes about two hours.  Enjoy burning your candle!

These make a great gift on their own or in a gift basket!  I like to find old mugs or tea cups at my local thrift shop to make these in!

What’s included in this basket:

3 Bags of Community Coffee Private Reserve Coffee

2 Travel Mugs

1 Oven Mit

1 Homemade Candle
