Eucalyptus Lotion Bars

Just the other day I made some amazing Peppermint Lotion Bars that I absolutely LOVED!  Not long after that, my kids came down with the cold and crud.  I started to think that having a Eucalyptus Lotion Bar to rub on their chest and back while they’re sick would be fabulous!  Not only is the lotion moisturizing their skin the eucalyptus helps sooth their cold.

Check out how easy these are to make below and be sure to check our Peppermint Lotion Bars while you’re here!

Homemade Eucalyptus Lotion Bars that are perfect for colds!

How to Make Eucalyptus Lotion Bars

Materials You Need

  • 1 Part Beeswax
  • 1 Part Coconut Oil
  • 1 Part Shea Butter
  • 6-8 Drops Eucalyptus  Essential Oil
  • Mold of some sort

Instructions

Place all the ingredients except the Essential Oil in a double boiler on the stove and completely melt everything.

Add the Peppermint Oil to the mixture and mix well.

Pour the oil mixture (carefully) into your forms and let it harden up.  I stuck mine in the refrigerator for a couple hours before removing from the pan.

Store in a Ziplock Bag or other sealed container.

ive never made these before, so this might sound dumb, but why the “mold”? It doesn’t explain what it’s for or where I’d get that. Just very curious… Thanks!

After you have melted all of the ingredients, you carefully pour it into your mold and let it harden. You can find the molds at Hobby Lobby or try amazon.
