Fall tablescape

October 14, 2011   |   Leave a Comment

This is really a pretty simple tablescape compared to alot that I have seen.  But, I did it with only decorations that I had on hand, trying to be all frugal and save money.  I started with my cream colored table cloth and added a fall runner on top, with a pedistal basket loaded up with fake pumpkins and guards.
This is what each individual setting looks like.  These plates I have in several different colors, my hubby bought them for my a few years ago from Target!  They are great for changing with the Holidays.  There is a round placemat below the dinner plate.  A folded napkin on the top of the salad plate – which looks like a really different brown in the picture but in person it isn’t so bad.  LOL.  The glittery pumpkin on top was .50 at Walmart a couple years ago – they are super cute!!  In the wine glass I put either an artificial flower or leaf and the tea lite has small pumpkins below the candle.
So, this was super easy!  Layering the plates was really what I think added the most to the table.  I put out this setting in September and it will stay through November until I decorate for Christmas.  I usually end up changing and tweeking it a few times, but that’s the fun of it!!
