What do your kids think of when they want to have some serious fun? I’m guessing they’re like my boys and it’s all about waterparks, laser tag, ice cream and more! Right? When I told them we were headed to Wilderness Resort where they would be able to do ALL these things in one location, they were beyond excited!
Last weekend we made the short drive over to Wisconsin Dells for a fun family weekend, we have stayed at Wilderness Resort during the summer and I can tell you that it’s just as much fun in the winter too! There is so much to do and no way that we could do it all in one weekend but I want to share some of favorite parts of the trip with you!
What do you think my boys favorite part of the vacation was?
Yep, of course it’s the amazing waterslides! Specifically they love the tube slides, because they can go together and they’re able to talk Mom and Dad into going too. They slides are so much fun and anyone can handle them!
Klondike Boardwalk
Opening summer 2014, the Klondike Boardwalk will be located on the mezzanine level of the Klondike Kavern and will offer the perfect place to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. It will be home to three new food and beverage outlets.
Yukon Yogurt will be a cool new venue where guests can create their own yummy treat! All they have to do is grab a cup, pick one of the many flavors of frozen yogurt, add their choice of delicious toppings, weigh, pay and enjoy!
My boys LOVE the make your own yogurt treats, where they can add all those delicious toppings. It always amazes me how much they can pile on their sundae AND they eat it all! Boys! Yukon Yogurt is a great addition to Wilderness Resort!
OK Corral Lazer Tag Arena and Marshall Training Lazer Maze
In the new, massive 4,000-square-foot, two-story OK Corral Lazer Tag Arena, guests will be able to challenge their family and friends to a showdown! Up to 30 players will make their way into the Town Square and compete for the top score, all while avoiding shots from other players! Players will even be able to head up ramps to a second floor to take aim over railings at unsuspecting outlaws below. Participants can explore a saloon, fort, jail and stagecoach all while collecting points and taking points away from other players! This is going to be a fun and active attraction the whole family will enjoy time and time again!
We didn’t have time for the Lazer Tag because we were at the waterparks most of the time, but this is something my boys want to make sure we do next time we are at Wilderness Resort. I could see taking their friends with us and them having a blast having Lazer tag wars together!
We love Wilderness Resort! We’ve visited in the summer and winter months now and both times had so much family fun. I don’t know if you saw my summer post where I was able to overcome my fear of heights and go on the Zip Line with my oldest boy. It was a blast! On that trip we were with my husbands family, and the ages ranged from infants to Grandparents. I love that Wilderness was a great vacation place for everyone! We can’t wait for our next trip!
