Last month my boys had a few days off from school for a state wide MEA break so my hubby and I decided to fly south to enjoy some sunny weather before the Minnesota winter set in for several long months.
We had a blast! One of our favorite places to visit in Orlando is Universal Studios, my boys LOVE the large roller coasters and of course The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! We spend a full day at Universal enjoying everything they have to offer. By far one of our favorite places to vacation.
I’d love to share all the amazing parts of the park with you but honestly that would take forever AND Universal Studios is a place you really need to experience for yourself in person. I do want to tell you about a few of our favorite things that are a MUST do.
My Favorite Parts of Universal Studios Orlando
Diagon Alley – This is an experience like non other! If you’re a Harry Potter fan, this alone is worth the trip! I was lucky enough to have a VIP tour of Diagon Alley and ride the Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts™ which was amazing! To be honest, I don’t ride a lot of roller coasters but this I made an exception for and it was so worth it!
The Food – I know, I know. It’s a theme park, how good can the food be. There are several delicious places to eat. We ended up having lunch at Lombard’s Seafood Grille early in our day and it was so good. Definitely a place to put on your list of places to eat!
The Hulk – Ok, I didn’t go on this ride personally but I love seeing how excited my guys get when they go. I’m pretty sure it goes upside down 4 or 5 times, but they swear it’s the best roller coaster ever.
These are just a few of the things that we enjoyed on our trip to Universal Studios Orlando. If you didn’t see my previous posts about Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Vivo Italian Kitchen and the Blue Man Group, be sure to check them out so you know all the great things to do when you visit Orlando!
