FREE Printable: Thanksgiving Activity Placemat

November 5, 2013   |   5 Comments

We have a fun FREE Printable Thanksgiving Activity Placemat for you today.  If your kids are like mine, they like to have something to color or work on all the time.  I know when we go out to eat, they love the little placemats or coloring pages that they get to work on while they wait for the meal to be ready.  This Thanksgiving Craft idea will help keep them entertained!

These Thanksgiving Activity Placemats are a great little activity for kids to do at the table while they are waiting for Thanksgiving Dinner.  The Thanksgiving meal is amazing, but it’s a lot of work and takes a lot of time to get that level of yumminess and usually the kids get bored and tired of waiting.  I love having these little activities ready for them when they start asking if the food is ready yet.

We have two different versions for you to print out and use on Thanksgiving.  One for the older kids and another option for younger kids.  The older kids version has a couple games, coloring activity and a even a word activity. This is the version that my boys would use since they are 11 and 8.

The younger kids Thanksgiving activity placemat is more about coloring and drawing pictures.  This is a great activity for kids who aren’t spelling or ready quite yet, or older kids that just want to color and have fun.

To use these Thanksgiving Activity Placemats, simply click on the link for which placemat you would like below and print it out.  Place them on your table with some crayons for the kids to use.  If you have a pretty table all set and you don’t want the kids coloring there, let them find a corner of the kitchen or house to sit on the floor and color.  It’s a holiday so let them have some fun!

That’s a cute idea! Thanksgiving can be boring for the kids – I love thoughtful little touches just for them.
