Give Something other than Candy

It’s not always easy to find Valentine ideas to give out at school that AREN’T candy. Kids do love all things sugar and chocolate but they end up with so much of it. I like to come up with ideas to give out that are not food related. We’ve done everything from bouncy balls to whoopie cushions.

Sadly, my boys are big now, way too big! They don’t do Valentine parties in middle school and high school so we don’t need to hand these out.

Lucky for me, I have nieces and nephews that I can help make Valentine cards for. So I can still come up with new ideas and creations to share!

PRINT YOUR OWN FREE Printable Valentines Day Cards

I’m thrilled to share this FREE Valentine Printable with you guys! You can easily just print out your own copies, there are SIX per page. Then just cut them out, stick the crayons in a cello bag and stable the tag on top. You’ll have one of the Best Valentine Ideas to hand out to your kids family.

Click the Download button below to print out your own copies of the Valentine Printable.

This is what they look like when you print them out, I like to use cardstock to print on – it’s a little thicker paper that holds up better. Plus, I think they’re easier to cut out on cardstock vs. regular paper.

More Valentine Ideas

We’ve shared several free printable Valentines Day Cards with you over the years, I think this is my absolute favorite though! I love that there is no candy involved and it’s something kids can really use.

If you’re wanting to have a party for your kids at home we have Sweet Treats Printable Party set that you can print out and use too! I love my friend Jenny’s, Straw Topper simple craft too – these would be fun to have kids make on their own during a school Valentine party!

Finish out the party with a coloring page – we have you covered there too with this FREE Valentine Coloring Page!

Make sure that you remember teachers on Valentine’s Day too – they always appreciate something little! We have a great little Valentine Teacher’s Gift Idea with a free printable too!

Where to Grab Bulk Supplies for this Valentine

Crayons – I order a large amount on Amazon, but if you plan ahead you could grab these really cheap at back to school time! You can use anything from 4 count to 24 count crayons in with this printable!

Clear Cello Bags – This is a bulk amount – you’ll get 100 little bags for a reasonable price.

Ribbon – This is optional, I didn’t add ribbon to our Valentine gifts.

Cardstock Paper – I keep a ream of this on hand all the time for projects like these printable Valentines Day Cards!
