How to Prepare for Black Friday Deals
Keep an eye on sales ads. Several weeks before, ads will start showing up in your local newspaper advertising what specials different stores will be offering. Make sure to clip any coupons that the store may offer. You can also look at the stores website for more information on their specials.
Sign up to get the early ads. You can sign up on sites like BFADS and Black Friday to get the Black Friday ads as soon as they are leaked. There are a couple stores that already have their ads out
Make a list. If you're like me, you will have a million and one people who want you to pick stuff up for them. Making a list of what you need to get is SO much easier than trying to remember. Also, make a list of who you want to buy gifts for so that you don't forget anything once you get caught up in the madness! We even have a FREE PRINTABLE Shopping List for you to use!

Make a schedule. Map out what time stores open and where you will be going first. The day goes so much smoother if you have a plan!
Practice. Practice. Practice. You may want to practice screaming " I am Sparta " in your mirror a couple times to help prepare for the craziness you will experience when the sales start!
Bring a shopping buddy. I always take at least two people with me. It makes shopping so much easier when you have multiple people who can wait in the lines. Since you can't be two places at once!
Shop online. You can shop online before the stores open. Many of the stores sale items are available online as well. Some stores also offer additional specials on their websites.
Bring snacks. You can wait in the lines for literally hours. I've had to wait an hour an a half before! On many occasions I have been waiting and get SO hungry I feel like I may die. So make sure you stick some snacks in your purse to prevent that from happening to you!
Arrive early. I always arrive an hour or two early and there will still be people ahead of me.
Wear comfortable shoes. You will be doing A LOT of walking and standing. You're feet will thank you at the end of the day for wearing comfy shoes and not worrying about looking stylish.
Dress warm. Chances are you will be standing outside. You don't want to freeze!
Attach spikes to the front of your cart. The best way to get the items you want in a hurry
Be Polite. I can't tell you how many times I almost get knocked down by a cart or from people shoving. No deal is worth getting hurt or hurting someone else.
Have fun. Shopping can get crazy but remember not to get worked up and have fun! My family and I have been going black Friday shopping as long as I can remember. We love it!
