Gifts for Two Year Old Girls

November 7, 2016   |   Leave a Comment

I have to admit that shopping for little girls is one of my favorite things to do at Christmas. While I do love pink and include plenty of it I am sure to include some other non typical girl items as well to keep it open. I also like to gift toys that help teach a skill or encourage learning through play. Whether you are a grandma looking for ideas, an aunt hunting up a deal, or a mom who needs just one more idea I think I have you covered here with these 10 great ideas for 2-year-old girls.

The BEST Gifts for Two Year Old Girls

Gifts for 2 Year Old Girls

Noisy Musical Toys– Toddlers will love things like this pink piano and microphone (and it will drive parents crazy!)

Little Apron–A sweet apron for cooking with momma is fun and memorable, a good quality apron will likely be used for years and then kept in the memory box!

Building Blocks– Boys and girls alike love building blocks, if your little one isn’t into pink, of course, you can grab them in primary colors as well.

Play tent– This is the ultimate play place for tots to have picnics, nap time, playing with dolls or blocks, and use their imaginations.

Dress up clothes– Don’t just settle on princess dress up though, give them plenty of variety adding in traditionally “boy” dress up clothes too. Super heroes, princesses, firefighters – they love them all!

Books– Books are my favorite gifts for little ones, they encourage exploration of the world, imagination, and bonding with whoever gets to snuggle and read them.

Tools-Tools are great for inspiring play and working on building little fine motor skills.

Ride on Toys– Even though they are up and walking at this age kids can still use some toys that encourage muscle development and are just plain old fun! A tricycle is a great next move from the little push along ride on for babies growing into toddlers.

Puzzles-Puzzles help develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. This is a great age to gently work on colors, numbers, and letters.

Tea Set– Because it’s fun and I mean look, a little bitty tea set… I smell a photo shoot here… Tea sets are a must for imaginative play and growing fine motor and hand eye coordination as well. This one doubles as a bath toy too so it will really get a lot of play.
