Goo Gone Homemade Remover Recipe

March 29, 2013   |   3 Comments

Don’t you just love those little glass jars the Starbucks drinks come in at the grocery store?  They are the perfect kid-sized glass and are way too cute with cold milk and a fun paper straw.

But those labels can be a bugger to get off so went online in search of a recipe for Goo Gone.

I tried two out and neither worked well so I tried my own mix of what I had seen and this works. It works well. It will put a smile on your face because you won’t believe it just worked that well.

a dash of olive oil (or other oil) with a few drops of lemon essential oil works wonders too! 🙂

You know what else works really great? Straight coconut oil. Rub some on and the label comes off!

I am a disbeliever. Now a believer. Just this minute made and tried this and I am flabbergasted! I have been scrubbing on these really cute preserve jars that I wanted to recycle and was giving in and admitting defeat and then this showed up in my pinterest page and I decided one more try. Viola! immediate sucess and I do mean right now, this minute, just applied and rubbed gently and the goo is gone. I am forever in your debt. With gratitude. P. Otts
