Halloween Entertaining: Festive Favors for Adults

October 3, 2013   |   1 Comment

“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starburst. I received product samples to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.”

Halloween is just a couple weeks away!  Do you make Halloween crafts and activities?  Have you ever decorated or made crafts using candies like Starburst Candy Corn?  Most of the projects are geared towards kids and creating fun and yummy projects with them, there isn’t as many fun ideas for us grown ups though!

Just this week I decided to make an Adult Halloween favor that I could use during a Fall or Halloween Coffee with friends or dinner party.  Which reminded me that I need to get something scheduled soon.

I love creating little gifts and favors for everyone to take home with them after visiting our home, usually it’s food related because I love to bake and create fun goodies.  So, this little Starburst Candy Corn favor was a perfect idea and project to make!

The inspiration for this project came from Tori Spelling’s Halloween treats and crafts that she created.

How to make a Halloween Adult Festive Favor

Materials

  • Paper (if you want to make a tag)
  • Small Mason Jar

  • Pen

Instructions

Step 1 – Fill your jars with the assorted Starburst Candy Corn pieces

Step 2 – If you want to use a gift tag, cut one our of the paper you have.  A simple rectangle would work great.

Step 3 – Attach the Gift Tag to the top of the jar with your Washi Tape or simply use a piece of Washi Tape on the top of the jar and write your message on the tape.

That’s it!  Set one of these little gifts at each place setting for your guests!  These would make really cute little teacher gift ideas or even neighborhood gifts.

This is how Tori’s looked after she made her festive favor.
