Halloween Treats for Dogs

October 22, 2015   |   Leave a Comment

This post is sponsored by Lunchbox. All opinions are my own.

If you are a dog owner, you understand this post completely.  Our pets are part of the family, they’re there for us when we’re happy, sick, down and they’re always there at the holidays too.  This is only our second year with Lily but walking through the store to pick out costumes for my boys and they right away noticed the dog costumes and insisted that we get one for our furry friend.

So this year Lily is going to be a witch, she’s a pretty darn cute witch if I might say. Of course they thought she needed a Halloween treat too, so we decided to make little treat bags to hand out to those few people who bring their dogs with them when they go out for candy.  Check out how we made them!

Creating a fun Halloween Treat bag for dogs is pretty simple, grab some of your pets favorite treats.  Lily loves the mini Milk-Bone and Pup-Peroni treats!  Then find a little bag to put them in, I found these adorable bags with the paw on them!

They easily fit several treats, even if they’re the large Milk-Bone’s plus they’re so stinking cute!  Just place some of the treats in the bag and you’re good to go!

These little treats are so simple to make and you’re going to have some happy pup’s!  This Halloween season don’t forget to treat the pups too! Dogs are such a big part of our everyday lives let’s make sure we don’t forget about them during holidays like Halloween.

The best way to create a fun and delicious Halloween treat for you pup is by using some of their favorite treats like these:

  • Milk-Bone®: Wholesome and delicious treats you can feel good about giving.
  • Pup-Peroni®: Real Meat is the #1 ingredient with a mouthwatering aroma that dogs simply can’t resist.
  • Milos Kitchen®: Home-style dog treats made with 100% real chicken or beef.
