Hamburger Queso Dip with Rotel is one of our favorite snacks in the evening and truth be told, we’ve even had this as a meal sometimes. It does, after all, have meat, cheese and tomatoes which is almost a Cheeseburger turned into a dip!
I can remember back to when I was younger and my Mom making this for us. It was one of my favorite things that she made so of course now I make my own version for my family and friends when I’m entertaining! Check out the recipe below! It’s so easy to make!
How to Make Hamburger Queso Dip with Rotel
Ingredients You Need
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 1 2 Pound Package of Velveta
- 1 (10 ounce) Can of Rotel
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheese (I used a Mexican Blend)
- Fresh Cilantro
- Chips
Instructions
Step 1 – Brown the ground beef in a large pan if you’re going to make the recipe in the pan and not the slow cooker
Step 2 – Add the Velveta and Rotel, I add the Velveta a little at a time. If you’re making the dip in the slow cooker, I add all the Velveta at once with the Rotel and cook on low for 4 hours
Step 3 – After the Velveta and Rotel and melted and mixed together with the hamburger, add the shredded cheese and Cilantro on top before serving. Enjoy!
This makes enough dip to serve several people and it’s not super spicy so everyone should be able to enjoy it!
